2019文化財ウィーク展示資料解説p.4(8)「清敬(きよよし)は、明治4年(1871)の大嘗祭において天皇が神事を行う大嘗宮の建築を命じられ、京都から東京へと出向します。清敬は、旅費ならびに留守中の家内の手当てとして金25両を京都府から借用して京都を出発、明治4年(1871)7月26日に東京に到着しています。8月5日付で当時の大蔵省より営繕司(えいぜんし)に採用され、大嘗宮の造営に携わりました。(Order from Kyoto Prefecture Assigning Kiko Kiyoyoshi to Tokyo for Work on the Daijōsai (July 1871))Kiyoyoshi was temporarily relocated from Kyoto to Tokyo after being ordered to construct the daijōkyū buildings to be used by the emperor in the daijōsai ceremony of 1871. Having obtained a loan of 25 ryō from Kyoto Prefectural Government to cover his travel expenses and an allowance for the household he was leaving behind, Kiyoyoshi departed Kyoto and arrived in Tokyo on July 26, 1871. He was officially appointed to the public construction bureau of the Ministry of Finance on August 5, and began work on construction of the daijōkyū.」
