2019文化財ウィーク展示資料解説p.9(20)「京都御所、紫宸殿（ししんでん）及び清涼殿（せいりょうでん）の平面図です。南面に承明門（しょうめいもん）があり、承明門の左右から回廊が延びて南庭を囲み、東回廊に日華門（にっかもん）、西回廊に月華門（げっかもん）を開いています。南庭の奥正面に主建築である紫宸殿があり、殿前の東には左近の桜、西に右近の橘が植えてあります。紫宸殿の西北に清涼殿があり、東庭には漢竹、呉竹が植えられています。南庭の広さは、承明門から紫宸殿正面階段まで「弐拾四間九分」、日華門から月華門は「参拾四間弐分」と記されていますので、それぞれ約45ｍ、62ｍになります。（Floor Plan of Shishinden Building, Kyoto Imperial Palace）This is a floor plan of the shishinden and seiryōden in the Kyoto Imperial Palace. On the south side is the shōmeimon gate, and a cloister extends from both the left and right sides of this gate to enclose the south garden. The nikkamon gate is in the eastern cloister and the gekkamon gate in the western cloister. At the far front side of the south garden is one of the principal buildings, the shishinden, to the front of which are planted a cherry blossom tree to the east (left) and a tachibana citrus tree to the west (right). The seiryōden building is situated to the northwest of the shishinden, and Chinese bamboos are planted in the east garden.」
