(An Okoshiezu of the State Banquet Hall and the Lounge in the Front Palace)Okoshiezu is somewhere between a map and a model, with the room's walls and fixtures constructed three-dimensionally to display the room in a more realistic manner. The Hōmeiden State Banquet Hall on the left was a large room for banquets, and the Atozekinoma Parlor on the right was used for resting after a banquet. Many grand ceremonies were performed in the Banquet Hall, such as the proclamation of the Meiji Constitution, as well as Western-style evening balls and soirées.」
