2019文化財ウィーク(72)「当時は珍しい異国の行列への関心は高く、このような摺り物も刊行されていました。この図は、嘉永6年（1853年）に将軍家定の代替わりに朝鮮通信使が来日するという情報に基づいて、以前の通信使の摺り物を元に販売されたものです。しかし、この時の派遣はありませんでした。（Procession of a Mission from Korea）Processions of foreign visitors were rare at the time and attracted great interest, which is why illustrations such as these were printed. This one was based on illustrations printed previously and sold upon the news that a mission would soon be visiting from Korea.
