2018文化財ウィーク展示資料解説p.6(29)「蔦屋の出版した吉原細見の一つです。吉原細見とは、廓(くるわ)内の略図や、遊女たちの名前を絵図のように紹介した吉原の案内書です。吉原で生まれ育った重三郎は、その地縁などを生かして成長し、また、当時の一流の文化人などを細見の序文の執筆者に迎えるなど商品価値を高める工夫を行い、細見は天明3年（1783）から蔦屋の独占的出版となり、店の看板商品となりました。（New Edition of the Guide to Yoshiwara）This was one of the Yoshiwara Saiken editions published by Tsutaya. Yoshiwara Saiken was a guidebook on Yoshiwara containing a rough sketch of the district and introducing the names of prostitutes. From 1783, Yoshiwara Saiken was published solely by Tsutaya, and it became the flagship product at his store.」
