『双六』図録解説p.5「吉原は明暦3年の大火を機に日本橋から浅草寺裏の場所へ移された。江戸の市街地発展による風紀上の問題からといわれている。その新吉原は、魚河岸･芝居町と共に1日千両の金が落ちるといわれ、ここを抜きにしては江戸の文化を語ることはできないだろう。これは大門をふり出しに仲の町を上りとした新吉原のイラストマップ式双六で、実際と一致しないところもあるが、全体の有様をわかり易く写している。国信が一陽斉の号を使用するのは文政末からであり、また角町の12軒と呼ばれる小格子の店々は文政11年秋の『吉原細見』以降掲載されているところから、文政末もしくは天保初めの刊行と思われる。なお志満山人は国信の戯作名である。 志満山人撰 歌川国信画 森屋治兵衛版(Sugoroku (type of board game) guide around Yoshiwara)Yoshiwara was moved from Nihonbashi to the area behind Sensō-ji Temple after the great fire in 1657. It was also said to be due to problems with public morals as the outskirts of Edo developed. Along with Uogashi and Shibai Town, Shin (new) Yoshiwara was said to be a place where people spent a huge amount of money in a single day, and it is impossible to talk about the culture of Edo without mentioning this place.This is an illustrated map-type sugoroku of Shin Yoshiwara starting from the entrance of Yoshiwara, and ending in Nakano Town, and although there are parts that do not actually match the area, it is an easy-to-understand portrayal of Yoshiwara overall. Kuninobu adopted the pseudonym, Ichiyōsai, from the end of the Bunsei era, and the fact that the shops of Kado Town with lattices in front of them known as Jūniken appear in publications after the Yoshiwara Guidebook published in the fall of 1828, indicate that this sugoroku was published in the late 1820s or early 1830s.」，『第2回江戸資料展』図録解説p.28「新吉原の区画は､元吉原のそれにならったものであるが、給地が五割増しになったので､新らしく揚屋町･伏見町･堺町の名が見られる｡」
