2023文化財ウィーク展示資料解説p.15(44)「明治22年（1889）2月の大日本帝国憲法発布式典の後、陸海軍の観兵式のため青山練兵場に向かう行列を描いています。江戸時代の錦絵に描かれていた「江戸城・日本橋・富士山」の組み合わせは、明治となり「宮城(きゅうじょう)・二重橋・富士山」の組み合わせに変化しました。著者の梅堂小国政は、3代歌川国貞の長男で風俗画や戦争絵を多く描いています。(At Sakurada for the Constitution Promulgation)This illustration shows the Emperor's party proceeding to an inspection of the military forces following the promulgation ceremony for the Constitution of the Empire of Japan in 1889. The combination of Edo Castle, the Nihonbashi bridge, and Mt. Fuji, which often appears in ukiyoe woodblock prints of the Edo period, changed in the Meiji period to the Imperial Palace, the Nijūbashi bridge, and Mt. Fuji.」
