2015文化財ウィーク『江戸城から明治宮殿へ』図録p.12「明治天皇と昭憲皇太后が、仮皇居の一室から御庭（展示資料24参照）を眺めている錦絵です。具体的にどの部屋に当たるのかは不明ですが、床が絨毯敷きで、庭に面しているところから、居住空間に当たる奥向きの部屋の1つと推定されます。天皇が洋装であるのに対し、皇后や女官たちは和装であり、両者の生活様式の違いが分かります。（Viewing the Akasaka Temporary Palace Garden）This is a woodblock print of the Emperor and Empress surveying the garden (see Item 24) from a room in the Temporary Palace. There is a clear difference in the mode of life between the two, with the Emperor dressed in the Western style, while the Empress and court ladies maintain the traditional Japanese style.」
