2016文化財ウィーク(50)「塩冶(えんや)家の家老大星由良之助の息子･力弥と桃井家の家老加古川本蔵(かこがわほんぞう)の娘･小浪の恋仲は親も認める良縁でしたが、本蔵が殿中で塩谷(えんや)判官(はんがん)の刃傷を後ろから阻止したことが大星家の加古川家への恨みとなり、縁談は解消となっていました。母･戸無瀬(となせ)が小浪を思いやり、力弥に嫁入りさせようと共に大星家の閑居､山科へ向かう東海道中の「道行旅路の嫁入り」の華やかな場面です。（Kanadehon Chūshingura, Act 8）When Kakogawa Honzō came from behind to prevent En'ya Hangan's attack in the palace, it caused the Ōboshi household to resent the Kakogawa household; as a result, the marriage engagement was canceled between Rikiya, son of the chief retainer of the En'ya house Ōboshi Yuranosuke, and Konami, daughter of the chief retainer of the Momonoi house, Kakogawa Honzō. Feeling sympathy for her daughter, Tonase leaves with Konami and heads toward the Ōboshi household’s secluded retreat in Yamashina to force the marriage to Rikiya.」
