The floor plan shows the overall Nakaoku where the shogun lived his everyday life. On the bottom right are the Gozanoma, Gokyūsokunoma (resting room), and Okozashiki, which were used as the living room, bedroom, etc., and at the end of the corridor were the tea-ceremony room, bathroom, etc. The cross section shows the pillars, girders, and other members, and the height of the eaves, the dimensions of the pillars and girders, etc., have been written on the diagram. The room and veranda to the south, and the veranda to the north are all aligned, and there is a decoration known as an "oni ita" on the roof.」
